I have some VERY exciting news… About two weeks ago, Cowboy had a follow up vet appointment. After reviewing his X-rays, the vet noticed that it was possibly his coffin joint that was hurting, so the first thing they did was ‘block’ his coffin joints. We took him into the arena, and I lunged him while the vets watched to see if his lameness had gone away, or at least improved. To our delight, with his coffins being blocked (temporarily injected), he was 100% sound! The vet suggested we schedule an appointment for both of his front feet coffins to be injected, which would bring immense relief to him.  Last Thursday, he did!  It has been 4 days since then, and I get to start riding him again starting tomorrow… Words can not describe how exited I am, not only for me, but for Cowboy! The vet said if he continues to take well to the injections, I will be able to do little jumps with him again in the future, which I never thought he would be able to do again.
