Every season of the year has it’s own perks, but summer is well known for being uniquely fun. With the summer season now quickly coming to a close, we still have one very exciting event to end the season in the perfect style of fun…the AECs at Tryon International Equestrian Center!! Attending this event last year was an absolute highlight of our end of summer season, and we simply cannot wait to go again. Last year at the AECs we were able to personally connect with so many equestrian enthusiasts, both competitors and spectators, from all over the country! We saw old friends, met new ones, and also met some of our “social media family” in person for the first time as well, which is always such an incredible experience. These facts alone would make any event well worth the trip, but the absolutely stunning setting at Tryon International Equestrian Center takes the experience to the ultimate level. Even if we did not personally know anyone, or did not meet anyone new, or did not even know very much about horses, Tryon International Equestrian Center has something for literally everyone, starting with their breathtakingly beautiful setting at the foothills of the mountains, to their vast setting which is filled with a large variety of delicious places to eat, and shopping….oh, the incredible shopping!! As we are now counting down the days until the next AECs (August 30th — September 3rd), we wanted to take the time to share about this incredible event and hope that you might join us in sharing this end of summer fun as well. We will be vlogging while we’re there, and would love to see you all in it with us!
Look at the fabulous Alex Banks, from Kentucky, on Finn, pre-dressage ring! Alex is a fellow US Equestrian ambassador #jointhejoy, and being able to visit with her at the AECs last year and watch her compete was awesome. James Lovett, fellow equestrian, came all the way from Chicago, which made Madison very happy. <3 <3 Elizabeth Brooks, also an equestrian, was the perfect friend to share all of the AEC fun with all weekend.
Countless photo opportunities!!
Even though the sun (quite beautifully) sets at Tryon International Equestrian Center, the fun never does.
Picking a place to eat can be tough because every option is so delicious. We absolutely love their little coffee shop “Mane Street Coffee” (we LOVE their mango smoothies and iced chai lattes), and Roger’s Diner is an absolute favorite of everyone. In addition to the impeccable dining options, another very striking aspect of our experience here is the employees. They are ALL so genuinely friendly!!
